DESCRIPTION

Requalification of the Town Square.

 

CONCEPT

This square is seen as a glade where the Common and the River Thames meet. Creation of a grassed amphitheatre surrounded by planters displaying woodland vegetation.
At the centre of this “garden” takes place a water feature which can be switched off to be transformed on an event space.

CONCEPT

Cette place est vue comme une clairière où le parc de la ville rencontre la Tamise. Création d’un amphithéâtre engazonné entouré de jardinières plantées de végétation de sous-bois.
Au centre de ce « jardin » se trouve une fontaine qui peut être éteinte et donner place à des évènements.
