DESCRIPTION
Transformation of a former industrial site into a residential area.
CONCEPT
Creation of a waterfront park linking together the surrounding mountains and the town whilst displaying a water garden to look at from the buildings and framing views to the striking beauty of the Lake Maggiore. Additional public spaces (planted terraces and squares) echoing both famous baroque gardens nearby (Isola Bella and Isola Madre) are integrated into the site dramatic topography to give to pedestrian an easy access to each building through the site.
